About this opportunity
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking to procure multiple aircraft stiffener ribs through a sole source procurement with The Boeing Company. The specific items include 20 units each of four different part numbers (315A2131-11, 315A2131-9, 315A2131-10, and 315A2131-12) for various National Stock Numbers (NSNs) related to aircraft stiffener ribs. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Boeing is considered the only known source for these repair parts, with the government lacking data rights to procure from alternative sources. The procurement will be conducted using FAR Part 13 procedures, with electronic solicitation through NECO. Interested organizations may submit capabilities and qualifications by email to Dylan.e.payne.civ@us.navy.mil within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement).
The procurement has no specific set-aside designation and is classified under NAICS code 336413 with Product Service Code 1560 for Airframe Structural Components. While the procurement is technically sole source, the Navy will consider all proposals received within the specified timeframe. The anticipated award date is December 2025, with delivery FOB origin. Quantities are precise at 20 units per part number, totaling 80 stiffener rib components. Any firm not currently approved to manufacture these materials must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), though the procurement will not be delayed pending SAR approval. The government expects to award the contract to Boeing, given their status as the sole approved manufacturer for these specific aircraft component parts.
