About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy Dhaka in Bangladesh is soliciting quotations for appliance spare parts through solicitation number PR15414552, specifically seeking Durastill brand or equivalent replacement components including float gasket sets, pre-filters, post-filters, heating elements, and fan motors. The Department of State is conducting this procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13, and all responsible sources may submit quotations provided they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.Gov). Vendors must include technical data sheets with their quotations to demonstrate that offered products meet the requested specifications, as it is the offeror's responsibility to prove equivalency for alternate brands. The evaluation will be conducted using the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach, with the government intending to award based on initial quotes without discussions, though discussions may be held if deemed in the government's best interest. The deadline for submission of quotations is September 3, 2025, with offers to be sent to dhakaproc@state.gov.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the solicitation materials. Delivery requirements vary based on vendor location, with Bangladeshi and non-American vendors required to deliver to the U.S. Embassy Annex in Dhaka, while American vendors must deliver to North Brunswick, New Jersey. The contract requires delivery within 25 business days of award and will be issued on a firm fixed price basis. Performance will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with payment to be made within 30 days after satisfactory inspection and acceptance of the goods.
