About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking commercial telecommunications providers to establish a 50MB commercial circuit between Europe and Southwest Asia under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers. This procurement is structured as a request for quote (RFQ) combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, with access restricted to entities registered under the appropriate NAICS code who must provide their UEI or CAGE code for verification. Quotations must include monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months, with service dates and acceptance criteria detailed in the attached RFQ documentation. The evaluation will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with specific evaluation criteria outlined in the corresponding standard provision of the attached RFQ. The solicitation was posted on July 17, 2025, with quotes due by August 18, 2025, and this announcement serves as the only solicitation with no separate written solicitation to be issued.

This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations, making it a full and open competition among qualified telecommunications providers. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award values or budget ranges for the telecommunications service. The requirement focuses on establishing a single 50MB commercial circuit connection, though the specific timeline for service delivery and performance period details are referenced in the attached RFQ documentation that was not provided in this notice. The geographic scope spans from Europe to Southwest Asia, indicating an international telecommunications service requirement, though specific performance locations or technical specifications are contained within the restricted access attachments available only to registered entities.
