About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency is soliciting competitive quotations for the establishment of a 200 MB commercial circuit for intra-Europe telecommunications services through this Request for Quote (RFQ). This is a restricted access procurement limited to entities registered under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers), and interested vendors must possess a UEI or CAGE code to gain access to solicitation attachments. Quotations must be structured to identify monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for extended service months. The procurement will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the commercial item procedures outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, with specific terms and conditions incorporated through DITCO Basic Agreements and referenced federal acquisition regulations. The deadline for submission of quotations is January 9, 2026, with the solicitation having been posted on December 4, 2025, following an amendment that extended the original due date.

No small business set-aside applies to this procurement, and the solicitation does not disclose any incumbent contractors, current service providers, or specific contract value information. The service location and performance requirements are specified in the attached RFQ document, which contains detailed acceptance criteria and requested service dates that potential quoters must address in their submissions. While the solicitation notice does not provide explicit budget parameters or award value ranges, the commercial nature of the requirement suggests standard telecommunications service pricing models will apply. This is classified under PSC code DG11 (IT and Telecom - Network: Satellite Communications and Telecom Access Services), indicating the government's interest in qualified telecommunications carriers capable of delivering commercial-grade intra-Europe circuit services. All responses must comply with applicable FAR provisions for commercial items and the terms outlined in existing Defense Information Systems Agency basic agreements.
