About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a commercial telecommunications lease for a 1 GB 4400 MTU Jumbo Frame dedicated connection between Aviano and Cameri, Italy. This request for quote (RFQ) is classified under the Wired Telecommunications Carriers NAICS code 517111 and targets telecommunication providers who can meet specific technical requirements. Access to the solicitation is restricted and requires potential bidders to submit their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) or CAGE code for verification. The procurement will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submitted quotes. Interested vendors must submit their proposals by April 3, 2025, and must comply with specific Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) commercial item terms and conditions.
The solicitation does not include a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified telecommunication providers can compete for the contract. Pricing must be detailed with monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and potential tier pricing for additional service months. The contract requires providers to establish a dedicated telecommunications link with specific technical specifications between the two Italian locations. While specific award value is not disclosed, the procurement focuses on a commercial telecommunications service with precise performance requirements. The place of performance is explicitly defined as connecting telecommunications infrastructure in Aviano and Cameri, Italy, with the service expected to meet stringent technical and operational standards as outlined in the attached request for quote documentation.
