About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a telecommunications provider to establish a 1 GB dedicated commercial lease between Aviano and Bari, Italy. This request for quote (RFQ) is structured as a commercial item procurement under NAICS code 517111 for Wired Telecommunications Carriers. Telecommunications providers must comply with specific federal acquisition regulations, including FAR 52.212 series clauses covering commercial item terms and conditions. The solicitation will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submitted quotes. Interested vendors must be registered under the appropriate NAICS code and provide their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) or CAGE code for verification, with the response deadline set for April 10, 2025.

The solicitation does not include a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified vendors can compete for the contract. Pricing must be clearly detailed with monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and potential tier pricing for additional service months. The contract involves establishing a dedicated telecommunications lease linking two Italian military locations, with specific service acceptance criteria outlined in the attached RFQ documents. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement is for a continuous telecommunications service between military installations. The place of performance is explicitly defined as spanning between Aviano and Bari, Italy, with the service requiring compliance with standard federal telecommunications and contracting regulations. Potential vendors should carefully review the full solicitation document for comprehensive requirements and submission guidelines.
