About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency is soliciting quotes for a 1GB commercial telecommunications circuit with endpoints located within Europe under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers). This is a restricted access requirement where telecommunications providers must be registered under the appropriate NAICS code and provide their UEI or CAGE code for verification to access solicitation attachments. The procurement follows a combined synopsis/solicitation format for commercial items under FAR Subpart 12.6, with quotations being requested directly without issuing a separate written solicitation. Quoted prices must include monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any applicable tier pricing for additional service months. The evaluation will use a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with specific evaluation criteria detailed in the attached RFQ. The solicitation was posted on June 18, 2025, with quotes due by August 6, 2025.
This procurement does not utilize any small business set-aside designations and is open to all qualified telecommunications providers meeting the technical requirements. The solicitation has been amended once (Amendment 0001) but maintains the same core requirements and restrictions. No specific contract value ranges or incumbent contractor information is provided in the notice. The service requires establishing telecommunications connectivity between two points within the European region, though specific cities or countries are not identified in the public portion of the solicitation. Additional details regarding service dates, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications are contained within the restricted access RFQ document that is only available to verified, qualified telecommunications carriers.
