About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking a commercial lease for 100 MB telecommunications infrastructure within Europe, specifically soliciting quotes from wired telecommunications carriers. The procurement is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with a restricted access requirement that mandates potential bidders be registered under the appropriate NAICS code (517111). Vendors must provide a UEI or CAGE code for verification and submit pricing that includes monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and potential tier pricing for additional service months. The evaluation will follow a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process, with specific criteria detailed in the attached RFQ document. Quotes must be submitted by June 6, 2025, with the solicitation serving as the sole bidding document and no separate written solicitation to be issued.
This solicitation is not designated as a small business set-aside and will require telecommunication providers to comply with specific Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) commercial item terms and conditions. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract involves procurement of intra-European telecommunications infrastructure with a focus on 100 MB commercial lease services. The procurement falls under the PSC category of IT and Telecom - Network: Satellite Communications and Telecom Access Services. Providers must adhere to standard FAR provisions, including FAR 52.212-1 through 52.212-5, which outline instructions, representations, certifications, and contractual terms for commercial items. The precise place of performance is within Europe, though exact locations are not specified in the solicitation notice.
