About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources for integrating the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) with the Honeywell Primus Epic Phase 7 Flight Management System on MH-139A aircraft. The primary objective is to enable data exchange capabilities that allow the aircraft to accept, display, and map flight mission data. Respondents must provide technical solutions that can load flight plans, custom waypoints, mission data, and Air Force Weather information. The RFI requires a comprehensive 15-page response submitted via email to the contracting officer by May 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM Eastern time. Key response requirements include company information, NAICS code details, business certifications, ownership status, cost estimates, potential product improvements, and compliance details for subcontracting limitations.

This pre-solicitation notice does not indicate a specific set-aside designation and does not mention incumbent contractors or precise award values. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and fall under the NAICS category 336413 for Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. The government anticipates providing technical support during initial implementation and testing, with additional subject matter expert support required for an extended period after the initial phase. The contract will focus on the PSC category 1520 for Rotary Wing Aircraft, specifically targeting the MH-139A Program. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the government may conduct follow-up discussions, site visits, or demonstrations to further evaluate proposed solutions, with all proprietary information protected from unauthorized disclosure.
