About this opportunity

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for in-depth legal publications covering bankruptcy and ERISA compliance. PBGC requires access to a web-based platform offering these legal research materials to support its mission of protecting the retirement incomes of American workers in private sector defined benefit pension plans. The RFI outlines the need for a suite of legal publications dating back to the inception of the publications, including topics such as Administrative Law, Bankruptcy Law, Contracts, and Federal Practice. Interested vendors are required to provide information about their company, socioeconomic status, capability statements, and confirmation of their ability to accommodate a 60-month contract with optional extensions. Vendors must also indicate their willingness to respond to a future Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFI states that this is an informational request only and does not commit the government to any future procurement actions.

The RFI does not specify any set-aside designations, and there are no details provided about potential incumbents or current contractors. The RFI also does not mention any award values or budget ranges, nor does it provide specifics on the quantity of goods or timeline for services.

See attached RFI for more details

PBGC's Information Center possesses a critical need to procure in-depth legal publications that provide agency attorneys with the ability to conduct legal research specifically on the topics of bankruptcy and to maintain ERISA compliance. These subscriptions are necessary to reduce risk to the agency and meet the agency’s mission of protecting the retirement incomes of American workers in private sector defined benefit pension plans. PBGC requires access to a list of in-depth legal publications that can be offered in a digital format and also provide individual login credentialing that can be accessed by agency personnel.
