About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Sustainment Center, is conducting market research through a request for information to identify sources that can repair the AN/APY-1/2 E-3 surveillance radar 5-Volt Power Supply (NSN 6130-01-451-3046CW, PN PS12295), with responses due December 6, 2026. No set-aside is used. Potential sources must possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements because the Government does not own the technical data needed to organically repair the item and considers acquiring that data by purchase or reverse engineering uneconomical. No samples are available for suppliers to evaluate.
The item is currently repaired by Levison (57U95) under contract FA8539-26-P-0001. The service was previously awarded to Levison, which was licensed the technical repair data from Brandt. The RMC/RMSC code is R3/Q.
The attached Performance Work Statement describes a one-year period of performance with services performed at the contractor's facility. Required delivery is a 45-calendar-day turnaround at a rate not exceeding three units per month, with no more than one late delivery permitted. Quality requirements permit no more than one Product Quality Deficiency Report for the contract. Additional requirements include CAV-AF reporting, a counterfeit electronic parts detection system, IUID Registry and GFP Module recording in PIEE, and invoicing through WAWF. Packaging follows AFMC Form 158, and 32 CFR Part 117 applies to classified materials if applicable.
