About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential vendors for Wing Vans that will be procured on behalf of the Philippines Navy through Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The procurement involves two distinct van specifications: a 32-foot cargo truck with single cab, three-person seating, diesel fuel, and manual/automatic transmission capability, and a 16-foot light truck with identical seating, fuel, and transmission requirements. All proposed equipment must comply with Philippine environmental regulations as the vans will be shipped to and operated in the Philippines. The Coast Guard seeks to identify qualified U.S. and overseas vendors and requests comprehensive information including company details, technical specifications, product brochures, warranty options up to two years, rough order of magnitude cost estimates, and existing government-wide acquisition contract information. Interested parties must submit their responses by September 16, 2025, providing all requested information in a clear and concise format as outlined in Attachment I.

This procurement opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designation and is open to all qualified vendors regardless of size. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation documentation. The RFI does not specify award values, budget ranges, or quantities for the wing vans, as this is purely a market research effort to inform potential future procurement decisions. The applicable NAICS codes are identified as either 336211 (Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing) or 336112 (Light Truck and Utility Vehicle Manufacturing), with the PSC category designated as 2320 for Trucks and Truck Tractors, Wheeled. The timeline for this market research phase spans two weeks from the September 2, 2025 posting date to the September 16, 2025 response deadline, with no specific service timeline or delivery schedule mentioned for the actual procurement phase.
