About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior's Interior Business Center has issued a Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice (RFI 140D0426Q0271) for Cisco hardware, software, and installation services to support approximately 2,700 Department of the Interior locations nationwide and overseas. Interested vendors must demonstrate they are authorized Cisco resellers with Cisco Partner designation and relevant portfolio expertise in networking, security, collaboration, cloud and AI infrastructure, and related services. Respondents must provide comprehensive capability statements including Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE), national and OCONUS field technician coverage, 24/7 help desk support, logistics and asset management capabilities, and program management infrastructure. This notice is explicitly for market research and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award; responses will not be evaluated for award, and vendors are responsible for clearly marking proprietary information while avoiding submission of classified or sensitive data. Responses are due by 5:00 pm Eastern Time on April 10, 2026, with a prospective award date in August 2026 if a formal solicitation is subsequently issued.

This RFI is not designated with a set-aside and does not identify any current contractors or incumbents. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in this market research phase, though the required product list identifies approximately 75,368 total units of Cisco products and services across ten DOI bureaus and offices, spanning software licenses (DNA, ISE, Firewall), networking infrastructure (Catalyst switches, Nexus hardware), and support services at various levels. The scope of performance encompasses the Continental United States and Outside Continental United States locations, including U.S. territories, islands, and Alaska, requiring vendors to demonstrate national and international deployment capability. Vendors should indicate possession of existing government contracts such as GWACs, GSA Federal Supply Schedules, or NASA SEWP contracts and must identify their business size category. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned, with the Government reserving the right to use submitted information for any purpose, including creation of a competitive solicitation.

No classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
