About this opportunity
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime (DLA Weapons Support - Columbus) is preparing to solicit an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for electrical resolvers (NSN 5990-014809938) with a response deadline of August 11, 2026, and intends to issue the solicitation following market research. No set-aside applies. Currently two approved sources are qualified: Kavlico Corporation (CAGE 22863, Part Number GM8850) and Woodward HRT Inc. (CAGE 81873, Part Number 84002175-001). DLA Weapons Support is soliciting additional prospective manufacturers through this market survey and invites companies to identify alternative sources or apply for approved-source status through the DLA Weapons Support Alternate Offer/Source Approval Request (SAR) Program.
The anticipated contract structure is a three-year base period with two to four option years. Delivery quantities will be estimated based on previous and forecasted demands, with a guaranteed minimum order value to be negotiated. The contract will allow future purchase requests to be issued as delivery orders on an as-needed basis. Suppliers must address company status, size classification, commercial item determination, product documentation availability, pricing and sales history, interest in pursuing the IDC, agreement to contract terms, delivery capabilities, minimum order quantities, delivery timelines, and quantity/price breaks. Prospective contractors applying for approved-source qualification must submit a SAR package demonstrating that their product meets or exceeds the quality of the currently approved items. Responses to the market survey questionnaire are due within seven business days to Contract Specialist Brandon Preece, (614) 693-2952 or brandon.preece@dla.mil.
