About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service has issued a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Notice seeking potential vendors to provide a comprehensive range of watches and clocks for the National Stock Number (NSN) Program under solicitation 47QSSC-25-Q-0156. The procurement covers various watch types including field mechanical, quartz, navigator, dive, chronograph, and military-specific models in different colors and sizes, as well as military stopwatches and marine chronometers. Interested contractors must possess NAICS Code 334518 (Watch, Clock, and Part Manufacturing) in their System for Award Management (SAM) record and hold a current GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract to be eligible for the future Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated evaluation criteria for the eventual procurement will include compliance with technical characteristics and past performance. Contractors must submit the Sources Sought Questionnaire through the eBuy system by July 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, and the government intends to award a fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with potential economic price adjustments.
This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside, though GSA will use RFI responses to determine if further socioeconomic set-asides are appropriate for the BPA award. No incumbent contractors or current vendors are specifically identified in the notice, and Contractor Teaming Arrangements are permitted for interested firms. The document does not specify award values, budget ranges, or quantities of watches to be procured, as this is an information-gathering exercise rather than a formal solicitation. Orders will be requisitioned by customer agencies, with GSA issuing purchase orders to the awarded vendor for direct delivery to the ordering agency. The BPA will be awarded against the successful quoter's existing GSA schedule contract, with contractors expected to comply with GSA Global Supply business transaction processing requirements using either Vendor Portal or Electronic Data Interchange systems.
