About this opportunity
The Department of the Army, specifically Army Contracting Command - Detroit (ACC-DTA), is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for a Three Station Base Assembly with National Stock Number (NSN) 2590-99-551-5216 and Part Number CS3134. This market research effort aims to identify qualified manufacturers capable of producing the specified component under NAICS Code 336992. Interested vendors must submit comprehensive responses by June 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST to Christina Smith via email, detailing their company's capabilities, commercial availability, manufacturing expertise, and delivery potential. The RFI requires participants to provide their DUNS number, CAGE Code, business size status, point of contact information, and demonstrate verifiable System for Award Management (SAM) registration. Evaluation will focus on vendors' ability to demonstrate relevant manufacturing experience, First Article Testing capabilities, and overall qualification to potentially supply the required equipment.
The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate any specific set-aside designations and emphasizes that this is a market research initiative with no guarantee of future contract award. No incumbent contractors or specific award values are mentioned in the documentation. The government is seeking comprehensive information from both small and large businesses to understand the market's capacity to manufacture the Three Station Base Assembly. While specific quantity requirements are not detailed, the RFI suggests the government is exploring potential procurement strategies for this military vehicular component. Respondents are encouraged to submit product literature, company background information, and references to past relevant contracts, including scope, manufactured quantities, and contract details. The Army explicitly states that no reimbursement will be provided for costs associated with preparing or submitting information in response to this market research notice.
