About this opportunity

The United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Nigeria Mission is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to gather insights on the capabilities of local Nigerian organizations to strengthen subnational governance, particularly in the area of Public Financial Management (PFM). The RFI seeks to understand the capacity and technical expertise of these organizations to manage USAID funds and support effective service delivery for citizens. Key focus areas include budget planning, transparency, procurement reforms, auditing and oversight, internal revenue generation, and monitoring and evaluation. USAID also wants to learn about the organizations' ability to enhance citizen participation in governance processes and build the capacity of civil society organizations. Responses to the RFI will inform USAID's approach to partnering directly with local organizations.

This RFI is not a set-aside opportunity, and USAID has not provided any information about potential incumbents or current contractors. The RFI does not mention any award values or budget ranges, but it states that USAID is committed to localization and shifting more leadership, ownership, and implementation to local actors. The RFI closing date has been revised to October 31, 2024, and USAID is requesting respondents to provide information about their experience, past performance, and pricing through a Google Form.
