About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command is conducting market research to identify small-business suppliers capable of providing brand-name IT hardware items listed in the accompanying Bill of Materials. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for preliminary, non-binding pricing information to support the Government's determination of acquisition strategy and the appropriateness of a Total Small Business Set-Aside designation. Interested small-business vendors must submit NAICS codes, CAGE codes, preliminary non-binding pricing for all listed items, and estimated lead times for delivery to Santa Rita, Guam via email to the designated Contract Specialist. It is important to note that this announcement does not constitute a formal Request for Quote, no contract will be awarded from this notice, and the Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding. The response deadline is March 3, 2026, providing vendors with approximately one week to gather and submit the requested information.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, restricting participation to certified small-business concerns. No incumbent contractors or current award values are identified in this pre-solicitation notice, as it is purely a market research instrument rather than a binding procurement action. The RFI does not specify quantity requirements, contract values, or service timelines, as those determinations will be made following evaluation of the market research responses. The focus of this submission is limited to obtaining preliminary pricing and lead time estimates for brand-name IT hardware components to be delivered to a location in Guam. Small businesses interested in this potential future opportunity should respond promptly to ensure their capabilities are considered in the Government's acquisition strategy development.
