About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy's Naval Air Systems Command has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking market and technology information from industry on existing and potential capabilities to provide a cost-effective Airborne Radar solution to support Naval Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft platforms.

The objective of this RFI is to gather information on industry's ability to provide a full-performance Radar solution that can support various modes and capabilities, including Weather, Navigation, Surface Search, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Inverse SAR (ISAR), and Plot Position Indicators (PPI) display. The Government is particularly interested in solutions that utilize Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) antenna designs with Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology and agile waveforms. Respondents are asked to provide a summary white paper detailing their proposed solution, including information on their company, past experience, and performance. The response deadline is April 25, 2024, but the Government reserves the right to accept late submissions. This RFI is for market research purposes only and does not commit the Government to issuing a solicitation or making any award.
