About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center is conducting a market survey to identify potential contractors capable of developing a Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Analysis Tool for the Royal Saudi Air Force F-15 aircraft. The procured system must identify obsolescence issues on both a proactive and reactive basis, provide viable resolutions, and load final DMSMS issue resolutions into software accessible to US Government country managers supporting the RSAF. Key requirements include the ability to manage Bill of Materials data, track part availability, generate obsolescence reports, identify Technical Order errors in part nomenclature and Source Material Recovery codes, and provide correction capabilities. The tool must operate 24/7 with 98% uptime and manage DMSMS cases while generating standard reports such as Product Discontinuance Notices. The RFI response deadline is December 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM, with submissions directed to anthony.brzezicki.2@us.af.mil, darrell.tripp.2.ctr@us.af.mil, and leon.castellano@us.af.mil.
This procurement includes no set-aside designation, and both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate, with joint ventures and teaming arrangements welcomed. The RFI does not specify an anticipated award value or budget range, nor does it provide a defined quantity or service timeline. Interested parties should submit documentation demonstrating their expertise and capabilities in managing DMSMS challenges, obsolescence management, and technical support for aircraft systems. No incumbent contractor or current contract information is referenced in this market survey notice. The revised due date of December 16, 2025, supersedes the original December 2, 2025, deadline mentioned in the initial RFI documentation.
