About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA-Aviation) issued this Request for Information (RFI) to determine strategic support options for providing industrial compressed and liquefied gases in Federal Supply Class 6830 to support U.S. military forces in the Central Command region. The RFI seeks feedback on supplying various gas types and grades in cylinders to customer locations throughout Central Command areas, delivering filled cylinders and picking up empties, maintaining cylinder pools, performing cylinder maintenance, and disposing of unserviceables. Responses to the RFI's 16 questions regarding company details, experience, compliance, processes, and costs are requested by March 19, 2024.
There is no set-aside designation. The NAICS code is 422610 and PSC code is 6830. The incumbent contractor is Inchcape Shipping Services, which currently holds contract SPE4A6-24-R-0172. The RFI does not provide award values or budget ranges but lists 68 national stock numbers and describes requirements to support gas needs for military forces throughout Central Command countries, which could involve quantities of various cylinder sizes.
