About this opportunity
The Virginia Army National Guard (VaARNG) is conducting market research for mold remediation services for various government-owned tactical equipment, including Connex containers, van supply semitrailers, tactical trailers, and M1097 Humvees. The agency seeks to identify potential vendors' business capabilities, commercial practices, pricing structures, and typical service timelines across multiple locations in Virginia, including West Point, Hanover, Virginia Beach, Gate City, and Blackstone. This Request for Information (RFI) is designed to help the government determine the most appropriate procurement approach, method, potential set-aside status, estimated costs, and expected remediation timeframes. Vendors are required to submit detailed information beyond standard marketing materials, including company details, contact information, unique entity identifier, business size, and small business socio-economic status. The submission deadline for this market research is May 30, 2025, with the initial notice posted on May 15, 2025.
This pre-solicitation notice does not currently have a specific set-aside designation and is categorized under NAICS code 562910 for Remediation Services. Vendors are expected to provide comprehensive details such as their standard terms and conditions, published pricing lists, typical service completion times, and the flexibility of their service delivery (on-site or requiring equipment transportation). The research aims to understand potential vendors' capabilities to service equipment across the specified Virginia locations, with a particular focus on understanding commercial pricing factors and service timelines. While no specific award value is mentioned, the government is seeking to gather market intelligence that will inform future procurement decisions for mold remediation services for military tactical equipment. The detailed information requested suggests the VaARNG is conducting thorough market research to ensure they can identify the most qualified and cost-effective service providers for this specialized remediation need.
