About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of repairing the Signal Data Processor, part number 700-00185-001, which is used on the UH-1N Helicopter. The government is seeking providers with the repair data, capabilities, and experience to meet the qualification requirements for this repair service. The contract will be a five-year term, consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year ordering periods. The government's needs for these repair services are to support current combat aircraft and search and rescue operations.

This opportunity is set aside for small businesses. The Signal Data Processor is a commercial/non-developmental/off-the-shelf item, and the lack of proprietary data makes it difficult to establish an alternate source of repair. The government has provided projected Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) annually, which may increase due to new aircraft fielding. No incumbent or current contractor information has been provided, and the potential award value or budget range has not been specified.
