About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). All parts must be brand new and not refurbished, with the government seeking information on availability, production lead times, pricing structures, and expedited delivery options to meet urgent mission requirements. Interested vendors must submit comprehensive responses by March 20, 2026, addressing their production capacity and specifications, pricing details including volume discounts, typical lead times for new parts, and warranty information. Additionally, vendors must provide complete company information including legal name, address, point of contact details, DUNS Number or Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), CAGE Code, and business size classification. Responses should be directed via email to Mikel Hernandez at the government's designated contact address, making the March 20, 2026 deadline critical for participation in this market research initiative.

This RFI carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any current incumbents or known award values. The procurement spans ten distinct replacement parts for various JLTV variants, including fire extinguishers (both 6.6-pound and 2.5-pound models), differentials for driving axles, display units, transmissions, gun simulator assemblies, generator engine accessories, and wheel assemblies with pneumatic tires, with quantities ranging from one to six units per part. Each part is identified with specific National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and manufacturer part numbers to ensure clarity and precision in vendor responses. The government has not disclosed an estimated contract value or budget range at this pre-solicitation stage, focusing instead on gathering market intelligence regarding vendor capabilities and supply chain feasibility. This RFI represents the early phase of the procurement process, with the information gathered expected to inform the development of a formal solicitation document.
