About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base is issuing a Request for Information on F-15 EX Rudder Sensor Depot Activation capabilities with a response deadline of May 17, 2026. This is a sources-sought RFI, not a formal solicitation, and does not obligate the Government to issue a subsequent solicitation or reimburse response costs.

The RFI seeks industry input on depot-level repair and maintenance capabilities for the F-15 EX Rudder Sensor, including all associated parts, spares, technical data rights, and software display functionality necessary to support verification of repairs at designated Air Logistics Complexes. Respondents must submit unclassified White Papers (CUI acceptable) communicating intent to participate within 14 calendar days of posting, with final responses due 14 calendar days thereafter. Submissions must include company information, security clearance levels, business history, socioeconomic classifications, and documentation demonstrating prior experience in hardware and software development projects of similar scope.

The Government seeks industry recommendations on efficient organic repair solutions, resolution of technical data and intellectual property rights issues, cost and schedule performance, and optimal contracting approaches. Respondents should address recurring hardware costs, installation ease, sustainment strategy, and manufacturing and fielding rates. Capable sources may be invited to an Industry Day event. ITAR and EAR compliance are required, along with a certified DD Form 2345. Foreign participation is not authorized, though foreign nationals may be employed if limited to public domain information. All submitted information becomes Government property and will not be returned.
