About this opportunity

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has issued a Special Notice requesting information from potential vendors to provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to its approximately 1,800 staff members and 500 dependents. The NSF is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified vendors capable of delivering a comprehensive EAP, including intake assessment, short-term counseling, referrals, management consultations, critical incident response, training, and a web-based platform.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather details on vendor qualifications, service capabilities, accessibility features, reporting capabilities, and support for mental health employee resource groups. Responses to the RFI are due by 9:00 AM on July 23, 2024. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a request for proposal or a commitment to issue one in the future. The NSF is seeking a vendor that can provide confidential, professional EAP services in accordance with federal regulations to support the well-being and productivity of the agency's workforce.
