About this opportunity
The National Park Service Southeast Region seeks to replace three revolutionary war era cannon carriages located at Fort Sumter National Monument through solicitation 140P5124Q0001. Responses are due by November 20th and will be evaluated based on the offeror's ability to reproduce the carriages utilizing iron pieces from the existing structures and deliver the finished products to the park. The finished carriages will be used for the permanent outdoor display of three replica 18-pounder cannon tubes weighing 4,660 pounds each to maintain the historical artillery installations.
This total small business set-aside opportunity has a place of performance in Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. The NAICS code for military and armament manufacturing applies, along with the PSC code for non-nuclear ordnance. No incumbent or current contractor is named. The finished carriages must be delivered by an unspecified date to preserve the important role cannons play in interpreting the site's significant role in the Civil War.
