Synopsis: The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) P16PS00519; Replace Single Phase Electric Underground Primary Cable at the Herring Cove Facility, Cape Cod National Seashore (CACO), 6 Province Lands Road, Provincetown, MA 02657 by means of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for the underground installation of approximately 4,800 lineal feet of 25kv EPR power cable, aluminum conductor, with copper wire shield, low density polyethylene jacket and installation of 6 pair communication cable by means of direct plowing including installation of new #3-40 foot pole complete and ready for use. Construction debris shall be removed from the park and disposed of in compliance with all applicable State and Local requirements. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect on or about 14 March 2016. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAM-System for Award Management in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction and the Size Standard is $36.5 million dollars. The estimated cost range for this project s $100,000-$250,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee is required including a Performance and Payment Bond. There will be a site visit, and perspective proposers are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a bid. The date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation.
