The 23D Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, GA (MAFB) will be issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Repair Streets and Parking as a Small Business set aside. This will be a single award, firm-fixed price contract, which includes providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, necessary to provide base wide paving repair, replacement, and minor construction of pavements including base roads, housing area streets, storm drain inlets and parking lots.
All work shall be accomplished in accordance with contract documents and most recent Federal and state regulations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 and Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction will apply to this acquisition for prevailing wage considerations. The size standard for this NAICS code is $33,500,000. Scope includes work at Moody AFB, GA.
The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The period of performance is 260 calendar days. The prime contractor must self perform 15% of the work.
The successful offeror will be selected using Sealed Bidding Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page under the solicitation number FA4830-12-B-0002. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The government intends to hold a site visit for the requirement and the exact date and time will be identified in the solicitation.
NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible for award. The CCR site is http://www.ccr.gov. Effective 1 January 2005 the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process.
