About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center is preparing to solicit repair, spares, and engineering services for Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI) components under a nine-year contract with performance spanning 10 September 2029 through 9 September 2038, with responses to this RFI due by 3 November 2026. No set-aside is anticipated.
The government has designated these systems as commercial items and does not possess technical data rights for them. Physical samples are not available for evaluation. Repair demand centers on two inertial navigation components (Federal Supply Class 6605): one NSN requiring 12 units annually and a second NSN requiring 100 units annually across all nine fiscal years, providing a baseline of sustained sustainment requirements.
The contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all required support equipment at either their facility or a subcontractor's facility. Replacement material or parts must equal or exceed the quality of original items. The government reserves the right to modify specific NSN requirements in future correspondence and does not commit that RFI participation will result in solicitation or contract participation. Respondents bear all participation expenses.
