The Refueling Probe assembly is secured to the helicopter’s forward right side.  The Refueling Probe is operated by helicopter fuel pressure and is electrically controlled. It provides the helicopter with air refueling capability. The inner and outer probe assemblies are constructed of composite materials for weight reduction. In-flight refueling is an operational requirement for the HH-60G; therefore, throughout its life-cycle there will always be a need to repair the refueling probe. The period of performance shall consist of a basic one-year period after contract award, plus 4 one-year ordering periods.
