About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service Region 9 is seeking to renew the lease for office and related space in Phoenix, AZ. The current lease is expiring, and the government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The required space is approximately 15,322 ABOA square feet, with 2 parking spaces. Offered space must meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards, and cannot be located in the 100-year flood plain. A fully serviced lease is required, and entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
This is not a set-aside opportunity, and the government will consider factors such as the availability of alternative space that can satisfy its requirements, as well as the costs associated with relocation, including physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and nonproductive agency downtime. The current lease has a 5-year renewal option, and the government is seeking responses by July 13, 2024.
