  2. 12-month Term of Support and Updates for existing Perpetual, Node-locked Byos® License Bundle, all modules installed on the same Node, Support for Peptide Analysis Module, quantity 1

This requirement is to renew two preview/byonic stand-alone database search licenses that are required for the lab’s mass spectrometrists to allow for quick data/instrument quality control. This software set integrates within the existing Proteome Discoverer suite of programs to visualize instrument drift, quality of digestion, sample handling artefacts, and glycosylation states, among other options. This allows for quick diagnosis of potential problems with the samples before it can become unrecoverable.
