About this opportunity
The United States Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District is seeking vendors to supply a remote slope mower through Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912P626QA012. This procurement is categorized under farm and garden machinery equipment and will be evaluated on a best-value basis among all technically acceptable submissions. Vendors must submit responses exclusively through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system; no other transmission methods will be accepted. Importantly, the Government has clarified that proposals for remote slope mowers without some or all optional features will be considered acceptable provided they meet base requirements, offering flexibility to potential offerors. The solicitation was posted on January 28, 2026, with a response due date of February 4, 2026. Prospective vendors with questions regarding the acquisition should contact James Parizek at James.P.Parizek@usace.army.mil with the solicitation number included in the subject line.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, limiting competition to qualified small business concerns. No prior procurement history or incumbent contractor information is available, as this represents a new requirement for the Government. The solicitation does not specify an award value or budget range in the available documentation, nor does it detail the quantity of remote slope mowers required or the duration of any service period. The place of performance is Chicago, Illinois. Prior to submitting quotes, all interested vendors must register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov and subsequently register with PIEE at https://piee.eb.mil to access the full solicitation documents and submit their responses.
