About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to remanufacture F-15 fuel valves (NSN 2915-01-140-5874RK) through a single-award, 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The solicitation requires the selected contractor to restore the valves to like-new condition, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, testing, and finishing. Contractors must comply with Technical Order 6J15-3-156-3, perform 100% replacement of consumable parts, and follow strict quality program requirements, including Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) reporting and cybersecurity protocols. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest price technically acceptable method, with offers originally due on January 7, 2025, but recently extended to February 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Evaluation will focus on the contractor's ability to meet detailed technical specifications outlined in the Statement of Work.
This is a total small business set-aside contract with a size standard of 1,250 employees under NAICS code 336413. The contract includes a minimum quantity of 5 units and a maximum of 40 units over the 5-year period from July 30, 2025, to July 29, 2030. The government will provide 40 F-15 Fuel Valves as Government Furnished Property, with each valve valued at $4,836.89. Delivery will be F.O.B. Origin, with shipments to the DLA Distribution Depot Oklahoma at Tinker AFB. The contractor must maintain detailed documentation for 5 years, provide special packaging for hazardous materials, and be prepared to potentially surge production by at least 10% if required. The firm-fixed price contract includes provisions for over and above work that may be discovered during the remanufacturing process.
