About this opportunity
The United States Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center, specifically the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the remanufacture of F110 Direct Linear Valves (part numbers 1886-280 and 1886-290). The contractor must be capable of furnishing all required labor, material, facilities, and equipment to accomplish repair, testing, preservation, packaging, and return of units to like-new condition. A critical qualification requirement is that sources must be pre-approved in accordance with FAR 52.209-1 before being eligible for contract award, with Source Approval Request (SAR) packages to be submitted electronically through DoD SAFE. The government is not required to delay contract award pending SAR review. The deadline for interested vendors to submit their interest is January 23, 2026, and inquiries regarding the Tinker SAR process should be directed to AFSC/SB at afsc.sb.workflow@us.af.mil or through the Small Business Office website.
This is a pre-solicitation notice for market research purposes only, with no current set-aside designation and no formal solicitation or allocated funds available at this time. The procurement is within NAICS Code 336412 (Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,500 employees, and the government is interested in potential sources from all business types, including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The estimated repair requirement is scheduled for September 2027, which provides the projected timeline for potential contract performance. No specific award value, budget range, or quantity figures are disclosed in this market research phase. Interested vendors must select the "ADD ME TO INTERESTED VENDORS" button to be considered as participants in this market research effort, as requests for a formal solicitation will not receive a response.
