The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the issuance of the FINAL RFP for the Warfighter Modeling, Simulation, Analysis, and Integration Support (WMSA&IS) requirement for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command / Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT). The WMSA&IS effort will be multi-faceted, providing the Army, other services, and DoD an advanced capability for modeling, simulation, analysis and integration of space and missile defense issues and other advanced defense technologies. The government intends to award multiple IDIQ contracts with a contract line item (CLIN) for fixed price loaded labor rates, and cost reimbursement CLINs for travel (no fee) and for other direct costs (reduced fee). The RFP will be formally issued and available for download from the USASMDC/ARSTRAT website on or about 24 Apr 2009.
