About this opportunity
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to negotiate a sole source procurement with G2K Labs, Inc. for LIMA Maintenance and Support. The procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order anticipated. The notice falls under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541519 for Other Computer Related Services. Importantly, while the DEA plans to work directly with G2K Labs, the agency is allowing other vendors an opportunity to submit capability statements demonstrating their potential to meet the government's requirements. This approach provides a limited window for alternative vendors to be considered before a final procurement decision is made.
Contractors interested in this opportunity must submit their capability statements electronically to Robert.A.JonesJr@dea.gov by June 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. The submission is not a competitive quotation request, and the government retains sole discretion on whether to open the requirement to additional competition. Vendors must carefully review the attached justification documents and ensure they can comprehensively address the maintenance and support requirements for the LIMA system. Eligibility is broadly defined, with no specific set-aside restrictions noted in the notice. Potential contractors should be prepared to demonstrate their technical capabilities, expertise in computer-related services, and ability to meet the DEA's specific maintenance and support needs. The final selection and procurement approach remain entirely at the government's discretion.
