Update #1 ·
PROJECT: Chillers VFDs
Phillip Burton FB & USCH
450 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco, CA
GSA Pacific Rim Region (GSA) requires furnishing and installation of two (2) chiller variable frequency drives (VFDs) for Carrier centrifugal chillers at the Phillip Burton FB & USCH, 450 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco, CA. The chillers are on a 4160 volt service; with one chiller being a 1050 ton model 19XR808 and the other is a 550 ton model 19XR656. This project will be a design build with basic bridging documents to be provided.
The building is occupied, so work must not disrupt HVAC service during working hours. Personnel will be required to obtain HSPD-12 background clearances before performing the work on site. Documents must be protected in accordance with GSA document security policies. Usage of the loading dock is restricted, and there is no employee parking. Access to the building is subject to building security and access policies.
Award will be on the basis of a best-value source selection considering price and non-price factors. This solicitation is being issued for unrestricted competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program for NAICS Code 238210. Any responsible source may submit a proposal.
