THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS seeking potential Small Business sources that have the interest and the capability to compete in a Small Business Set-Aside forum and able to perform a Firm Fixed Price contract.



The US Forest Service is looking for Packer and Stocker for three (3) separate projects: 1) 20 person crew from Backcountry CA Conservation Corps (CCC) for approximately 19 weeks; 2) 20 person crew from Northwest Youth Corps (NYC) for approximately 3 weeks; 3) 10 person crew from Student Conservation Association (SCA) for approximately one (1) month in Klamath National Forest. The three (3) crews are in partnership to perform trail repair in Siskiyou and the Russian Wilderness area in Siskiyou County.



Contractor shall furnish all livestock, tack and other pack equipment necessary to transport supplies. Contractor shall furnish feed for livestock if it is necessary to hold stock overnight at trailhead locations. Contractor shall furnish transportation to and from trailheads. Contractor shall furnish necessary personal camping supplies should distance make it necessary to spend the night in a backcountry location.



Work area is located in the Klamath National Forest in Russian and Marble Mountain Wilderness areas on the Salmon/Scott River Ranger District, Siskiyou County, Yreka, CA.



Period of Performance is May 24, 2010 to September 24th, 2010.



Contractors are required to be registered and active in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).



This will be a single award to one Small Business.
