Notice text
A Request for Quotation (RFQ) has been posted for a project at Point Reyes National Seashore, located near Point Reyes Station in Marin County, CA to provide all labor, materials and incidentals as required to complete safety closures of 3 mine adits on Copper Mine Gulch within the managed lands of Point Reyes National Seashore. The project is approximately mile up stream on Copper Mine Gulch. Access is along an abandoned road bed and rough terrain. All supplies and equipment must be transported to the site by foot. The adits will be secured using Polyeurothane foam (PUF) (approximately 8 CY total). Two will be closed completely using PUF while the third will include installation of a wildlife appropriate closure.
The total project range is estimated to be under $25,000 and is expected to be completed within 30 days after receiving a Notice to Proceed. A site visit can be arranged by contacting the Park Program Manager at (415) 464-5192 not later than close of business November 2, 2009. The Program Manager will select a date and time to conduct a tour during that week. This will be the only opportunity to view the existing conditions with a Government representative prior to an award.
The RFQ (and associated attachments) is available for download at http://www.fbo.gov or directly from the Department of Interior site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors are responsible for periodically checking the site for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date.
This project is being funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), and the contractor must meet all reporting requirements as described in FAR 52.204-11. The Contractor shall report the required information using the online reporting tool available at www.FederalReporting.gov.
This acquisition is Set-Aside for Emerging Small Business Concerns only under the NAICS Code of 238910.
