Notice text
RECOVERYArchitect-Engineer (A/E) Design Services. This notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL purposes only. This opportunity has been made to the A/E firm, PSOMAS, 1075 Creekside Ridge Drive, Roseville, California. The National Park Service (NPS) intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to PSOMAS in the amount of $20,452.00. In FY2006, PSOMAS, under a separate contract with Golden Gate NRA, completed Title II construction document design services for the replacement of waterlines at Fort Barry, Marin Headlands, Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Due to lack of available funding, this project was indefinitely.shelved. In FY2009, funding for this project was made available, however, relocation of one fire hydrant was required, as other adjacent fire lines were also relocated to enhance fire protection capabilities. Under this purchase order, PSOMAS will be required to "revisit" and revise its original design. No firm, other than PSOMAS could legally alter the existing construction documents which were "stamped" by PSOMAS, a firm registered as a licensed professional A/E firm in the State of California. Accordingly, PSOMAS shall complete Title III construction administration services for the replacement of waterlines to increase fire protection capacity at Fort Barry, Marin Headlands, Golden Gate NRA. The Title III services by PSOMAS shall be used as a basis to prepare revised construction drawings for a Request for Proposals (RFP) that will be issued to solicit a construction contract for the replacement of the waterlines.
