About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command has issued a Special Notice for a sole-source purchase order to JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. to rebuild the chiller motor for Chiller #2 at JBSA Fort Sam Houston. The due date for interested parties to provide information about their capabilities is July 1, 2024. While this is not a request for competitive quotes or a solicitation for offers, the Government may consider the information received to determine if a competitive requirement is appropriate. Key requirements include the disassembly, inspection, testing, re-machining, and reassembly of the chiller motor, as well as the provision of detailed test reports. Eligibility is limited to JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC. due to their direct knowledge of the required services and ability to complete the repairs in a timely manner to meet the urgent need.
