About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking to re-award a 100 MB commercial telecommunications circuit located in Southwest Asia. This solicitation is a request for quote (RFQ) for wired telecommunications services, classified under NAICS code 517111. The procurement is structured as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. Telecommunication providers must comply with specific commercial item terms and conditions, including FAR provisions related to instructions, representations, and contract terms. The agency will utilize a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate quotes, with specific evaluation criteria detailed in the attached RFQ document. Interested vendors must be registered under the appropriate NAICS code and submit access requests including their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) or CAGE code for verification.
The solicitation does not include a small business set-aside, meaning all qualified telecommunications providers can compete. Quotes must clearly identify monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and any tier pricing for additional service months. The requested service date and specific acceptance criteria are outlined in the attached RFQ documents. Potential bidders must submit their quotes by June 2, 2025, which serves as the critical response deadline. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement represents a re-award of a fiscal year 2020 requirement for a telecommunications circuit in the Southwest Asia region. The solicitation is restricted access, meaning only entities meeting specific registration and qualification criteria will be permitted to view detailed attachment documents.
