Notice text
The Army Contracting Command - Redstone intends to modify an existing cost plus fixed fee contract (W31P4Q-10-D-0009) to meet the requirements of the government on a sole source basis with Engineering Research and Consulting, Inc. (ERC, Inc.). The proposed action is pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This action is to provide quote mark bridging quote mark support for Firing Test Division Test and Evaluation Support Services that supports the Missiles and Sensors Test Directorate (MSTD) under the Redstone Test Center (RTC).
The Government intends to issue a six month, sole source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to ERC, Inc., 308 Voyager Way, Suite 200, Huntsville, AL 35806 (Cage Code 0VYZ2), for test planning, evaluation, and documentation support services RTC. Test planning, evaluation, and documentation support services are a critical part of RTC's overall mission which supports weapon systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components, and other associated items for all missile, sensor and aviation organizations. Contractor support shall consist of all labor and supplies, equipment, test fixtures, tools, materials and transportation necessary to perform tests, evaluations, analyses and test management and incidental activities required for testing efforts and other associated activities scheduled to be conducted. Award to any source other than ERC, Inc. would result in unacceptable delays and substantial cost. The contract planned period of performance is from 1 October 2015 to 31 March 2016. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this action is directed towards ERC, Inc. This acquisition is not open to foreign firms. All responses should be directed to Leslie Dyer, at Leslie.K.Dyer.civ@mail.mil, and must be received within five (5) days from the date of publication of this synopsis. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is to negotiate a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is being issued for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Solicitation documents are not available.
