About this opportunity
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9 is seeking technical support services through the RCRA Enforcement Permitting, Assistance (REPA VII) contract to provide comprehensive environmental consulting assistance. The solicitation focuses on supporting EPA activities across multiple jurisdictions, including private and federal facilities, Indian Country, U.S. Territories, and international border regions. This contract will specifically enable technical support for RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) goals and related agency initiatives, with potential support extending beyond Region 9's immediate geographic area. The federal contract opportunity (ID: c169e2e6d2f84022991fe9f03021bc1c) was posted on February 20, 2025, with proposals due by April 18, 2025, categorized under Environmental Consulting Services (NAICS 541620). While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the notice, the contract appears to prioritize technical expertise in environmental regulatory compliance and support services.
The solicitation indicates no specific set-aside designations, suggesting the opportunity is open to a broad range of qualified environmental consulting firms. The contract is classified under the Environmental Consulting Services NAICS category and Other Environmental Services product service code, which implies a wide scope of potential work. While exact award values are not specified, the comprehensive nature of the support services suggests a potentially significant contract value. The place of performance appears to be flexible, with primary focus on EPA Region 9's jurisdiction but with potential expanded geographic support capabilities. Interested contractors should carefully review the full solicitation documents to understand the complete range of technical support services required, which may include permitting assistance, enforcement support, and collaborative efforts with states, tribes, and other federal agencies across various environmental regulatory domains.
Notice text
The purpose of the REPA contracts is to provide technical support services primarily for the EPA Region identified in the contract, but with the possibility of supporting areas outside of the Region, if needed. The contract will support EPA activities, as well as EPA coordinated efforts with states, tribes and other Federal agencies, at private, state and federal facilities, Indian Country, U.S. Territories, along the United States international borders, and further abroad. The activities required under this contract will support the RCRA goals cited above and other programs or related Agency initiatives.
