About this opportunity

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) has issued a Special Notice for a contract extension to the Range Operations Contract II (ROC-II). The notice pertains to contract number 80GSFC19C0013 and is being pursued under the statutory authority for other than full and open competition. NASA intends to extend the existing cost-plus fixed fee, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of 6 months, specifically from August 10, 2025 to February 9, 2026. The extension is deemed necessary to ensure program continuity, critical mission support, and to avoid disruption to the Wallops Range. NASA believes that awarding the contract to any other source would likely result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.

Interested contractors are invited to submit their capabilities and qualifications in writing by 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on May 30, 2025. The capability statements should include the company name, address, phone number, point of contact, and relevant qualifications. NASA will evaluate these submissions solely to determine whether to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis, with the final determination remaining at the government's discretion. The notice emphasizes that this is not a request for competitive proposals and that the government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in preparing their information. Potential participants should be aware that oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The contract extension covers comprehensive range operations services, including maintenance, sustainment, and support for technical systems and facilities across multiple global locations, with a focus on supporting NASA and other government agency missions.
