About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa is conducting market research for a Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Data Entry / Front Desk Clerk position at RAF Mildenhall in the United Kingdom. The pre-solicitation notice seeks to identify potential contractors capable of providing non-personal administrative support services for the Military & Family Readiness Center. Qualified vendors must demonstrate experience in data entry, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and understanding of military protocols. Interested companies are required to submit electronic responses by April 9, 2025, at 1200 London Time, providing company information, capability statements, and potential response timelines to a formal Request for Quote (RFQ). The government is specifically requesting feedback on the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and identifying any ambiguous language in the document.
The contract opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category and falls under the Office Administrative Services NAICS code 561110. The initial contract term is 12 months with three potential option periods, requiring the contractor to provide 40 hours of service per week during standard business hours (0730-1630 Monday-Friday). Key performance requirements include maintaining 90% accuracy in data entry and record keeping, supporting separating service members and their families, and complying with strict security protocols. Contractors must possess a high school diploma, have at least one year of data entry experience, and be able to work effectively with diverse populations. While no specific award value is mentioned, the scope involves administrative support functions typical of a front desk and data management role in a military support center.
