About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a Special Notice regarding a sole source procurement for an Integrated Library System (ILS) for the VA Library Network (VALNET). The VA intends to award a sole source contract to LibraryWorld Inc. for an annual subscription ILS with a one-year base period and four 12-month option years.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to procure an off-the-shelf, secure, web-based, multi-tenant ILS that provides core library management functions such as cataloging, circulation, serials control, reporting, and an online public access catalog. The ILS must also support the sharing of collections and resources across the VALNET libraries. The NAICS code for this procurement is 519290 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees, and the VA estimates up to 100 libraries may utilize the ILS with migration services included.
