About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command has issued a Sources Sought Notice for Process Improvement and Project Management Support, classified under NAICS 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services) and PSC R408 (Support- Professional: Program Management/Support). This is a pre-solicitation notice issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a binding Request for Proposal or Request for Quote. The notice invites interested parties to provide information regarding their capabilities in process improvement and project management support to assist the Navy in identifying potential contractors for future procurement activities. The Government has not established specific evaluation criteria at this stage, as this is a sources sought notice rather than a formal solicitation. Interested parties must monitor the Federal Procurement Data System for any subsequent formal RFP or RFQ that may be issued based on this pre-solicitation notice. The responses to this notice are due by February 6, 2026, and interested parties should note that the Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought notice.
This pre-solicitation notice contains no set-aside designation, meaning all eligible contractors regardless of business size or status may respond. The notice does not identify any current contractors or incumbents, nor does it provide an award value or budget range at this stage of procurement planning. No specific contract timeline, quantity of services, or numerical performance metrics are disclosed in the sources sought notice. It is important to note that responding to this notice does not guarantee participation in any future formal solicitation, and conversely, failure to respond does not preclude participation in subsequent RFP or RFQ processes. The Navy emphasizes that this notice is exploratory in nature and serves to gather market information before proceeding with formal contracting activities.
